Privacy Policy
Voyadio ("Voyadio", "we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we handle, and how, in the Voyadio app and community (voyadio.com).
1. Information we collect
- App (stored on device): Your collected channels and language preference are stored only on your device and are not sent to our servers. The app's radio features work without an account; optional sign-in is used for mileage, customization, and cross-device sync (see the "Community" item for what sign-in collects). We do not track you for advertising (see the "App usage analytics" item below for how we measure app usage).
- Community (voyadio.com): Your email address and password for sign-in, nickname, content you post (channel recommendations, notes, comments), and technical data (IP address and request logs, handled by Cloudflare) for security and abuse prevention. We also keep usage records linked to your account (last sign-in time, last community visit time, country and platform) to improve the service. We do not record which posts you read, and these records are deleted with your account.
- Payments (tips): In-app payments are processed by Apple or Google, and international web payments by PayPal. Korean web payments are processed through Cafe24 checkout and Cafe24 Payments, where you may enter order information such as your name and contact details. We do not directly receive or store your card number.
- Radio playback: Station listings are provided by radio-browser.info; we do not store listening history on our servers.
- Anonymous usage stats (optional, off by default): Only if you turn it on in Settings, we send anonymous, non-identifying stats (channel country code, response speed, playback success rate, app version, platform) to our servers to improve the app. We do not collect location, device identifiers, or per-user listening history, and you can turn it off anytime in Settings.
- App usage analytics (Android app only): In the Android app we use Google Analytics for Firebase to collect aggregate usage statistics (such as daily active users, return visits, whether a feature was used, when playback starts and stops and for how long, connection failures, and the country name you type into the country list filter in My Radio) to improve the app and measure our own ad campaigns. This data is processed by Google as our provider. We do not collect advertising identifiers (AAID), and we do not use it to track you across other apps or for ad targeting. It is not used on the web or on iOS.
- We show no advertising inside the app.
2. How we use it
Only to authenticate sign-in, display your posts, process tips, operate and secure the service, and prevent spam and abuse.
3. Third-party processing
To run the service we rely on: Cloudflare (hosting/security), Resend (sending sign-in emails), Apple, Google, PayPal, Cafe24 and Cafe24 Payments (payment/order processing), radio-browser.info (station directory), and Google Analytics for Firebase (Android app usage analytics). We never sell your personal data.
4. Retention and deletion
Your account and posts are kept until you ask us to delete them. To delete your account or data, email support@voyadio.com.
5. Children
Voyadio is not directed to children under 13.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information. Contact support@voyadio.com.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the update here with a new effective date.
